Everest Three Pass Trek
The Everest Three Passes Trek it’s for the experienced trekkers and the ultimate thrill-seekers. Situated in the Everest region, it takes you through the four distinct valleys of the Khumbu region—Dudh Koshi, Gokyo, Khumbu, and Imja Tse— and across the Renjo La, Cho La, and Kongma La passes. This 20-day adventure also explores every glacier, peak, waterfall, lake, village, and monastery in the region – truly an epic journey worthy of the Everest bucket list.
The trek begins with a flight to Lukla. After landing on a hilltop surrounded by mountain peaks, get ready for a journey that will have you crossing the Kongma La Pass, Cho La Pass, Gokyo Lakes, and Renjo La Pass on your journey to reach Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar. As you approach this mammoth venture, you will pass through glaciers, moraines, and shortens that will add to both the beauty and the challenge of your journey. Another highlight of this route is Sagarmatha National Park – a beauty spot teeming with wildlife, such as the Himalayan black bear, snow leopards, deer, and wild boar.
The Everest High Pass Trek also treats our trekkers to some of the most captivating views of the region’s famous mountains, such as Mount Everest (8848 m), Mount Lhotse (8516m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Ama Dablam (6812m) and Makalu (8481m) – along with the other Himalayas in the Khumbu region. However, the Everest region is not only rich scenically, but as this trek will explore, both culturally and spiritually too.
Along the journey, trekkers will pass through numerous Sherpa villages and have the opportunity to experience the daily lifestyle of the Sherpa people, their culture, language, and traditions. The best chance to do this comes when we stop in Namche Bazaar, one of the most significant local settlements in the area. You will also visit numerous monasteries along your journey and be welcomed to share in the traditions of the Buddhist community.
We are one of the leading trekking companies based in Kathmandu, offering a wide range of EBC treks, as well as other treks in the Himalayas region. We provide you with fully qualified and experienced guides to accompany you on your trek and ensure that it is fun, memorable, and above all safe.
